Miraj Kahenah: From a Journey to a Legacy

In spring 2024, Abderrahim invited his friend Rajesh to discover Morocco through a special journey across its vibrant cities and timeless landscapes. Among them, Marrakesh—the famous “red city”—left an unforgettable impression. Rajesh immersed himself in the lively rhythms of the old medinas, the generosity of the people, the colorful spice markets, the leather souks, and the meticulous artistry of local craftsmen. Together, they wandered through aromatic gardens and bustling alleys, surrounded by organic scents that captured the soul of the city. Rajesh instantly fell in love with Marrakesh’s dynamism, cultural richness, and sensory magic.

Before Rajesh returned to the United States, Abderrahim offered him a unique gift: a perfume oil he had personally created to encapsulate their shared experience. This bespoke fragrance carried the essence of every aroma that had enchanted Rajesh during his Moroccan journey. Just three days later, Rajesh found himself deeply moved by the lingering scent—it was more than a perfume; it was the embodiment of memories, emotions, and discovery. From this intimate gift was born the idea of Miraj Kahenah.

Launched later 6 months later, Miraj Kahenah evolved from that personal story into a captivating unisex fragrance inspired by the legendary Amazigh warrior queen of North Africa, embodying her strength and grace. It bridges two worlds: the sensory magic of Marrakesh and the timeless legacy of the queen Kahina. This remarkable scent transports its wearer into a realm where bravery meets elegance, celebrating both the rich Amazigh heritage and the universal journey of inner empowerment.

Co-created by renowned perfumers Rajesh Balkrishnan and Abderrahim Larhrissi, Kahenah weaves together exotic ingredients into an olfactory tale of power and beauty. It opens with invigorating top notes of zesty citrus and smoky incense, an energizing overture that awakens the senses. The heart reveals delicate yet commanding floral tones, where rose takes center stage, evoking the regal presence of the queen herself. Finally, a base of warm amber, musk, and subtle smoky accords lingers, symbolizing resilience and timeless strength.

Kahenah is more than a fragrance—it is both a tribute to a queen’s enduring spirit and a continuation of a friendship born in Marrakesh. Each spray carries echoes of a Moroccan journey, the strength of a warrior queen, and the promise of self-confidence and allure for whoever wears it.
